Reduce Consumption : Produce Locally

Anybody out there?

Hi, all. Just wanted to see if any other local people are logging in. Anyone else interested in growing food in the city?

Cindy

anyone out there?
Yes we are! I have been gardening in the city for only one season now. I've been using pots on our fire escape and have been able to supplement our diet with homegrown foods. By no means is my family self-sufficient in this endeavor and I've had a very low yield compared to what I remember growing as a child( and a few dead plants). Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated. SOme of the low yeild I attribute to the weather in the New England area.
