ASPO 5 will be in Italy next month

The Association for the Study of Peak Oil's 5th annual conference will be held in Italy next month and is organized around plenary talks given by world renowned experts. Below is the list of the confirmed speakers as of May 15th 2006.

Of note:
#4, #9, and #21 were contributors in the movie The End of Suburbia.
#11 is going to speak on the need to relocalize as a response to Peak Oil.
#13 is going to discuss the coming natural gas crisis in North America as did Julian Darley in his book High Noon for Natural Gas.
