Reduce Consumption : Produce Locally

Call to Action: Stickwood Walker decision may be reconsidered Wednesday, 4 January!

Newmarket Council may reconsider their decision to choose conventional development over environmentally friendly development on the Stickwood Walker property (Yonge & Mulock). This would be the first development of its kind in CANADA. There will be a special meeting Wednesday at 7 pm. The mayor of Newmarket, Tom Taylor, wants to hear from people on this issue. He's already been contacted by a representative from "The Nature of Things", among others.

This is a real opportunity to help York Region prepare for the coming change. A small effort on your part can pay off with something incredible for our local area.
