What is it?
A FREE one-day conference for anyone interested in working together, building networks, and producing inspiring ideas and strategies to cope with climate change.
Goal:
To inspire and enable the construction of constituencies on climate change in our bioregion: community networks of people positively engaged in taking action in their local area. By the end of the conference positive connections will have been made, and next steps will have been planned
Method: Through a wide choice of action-oriented workshops we will discuss and brainstorm strategies to involve and empower at a grassroots level. The day will be participatory rather than passive.
Who should attend?
The conference is for concerned local people, activists, environmental professionals and decision makers.
Showcase opportunities:
This is an opportunity to showcase what you do or to present a new idea on local climate change action or education. You could run a workshop, give a talk, mount a display or put out some leaflets.
Accommodation & venue:
Participants are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. The conference venue is a 5 min walk from Brighton railway station.
