Please join Richard Heinberg, Post Carbon Institute Senior Fellow and award-winning author, for a unique evening combining his two passions: creating a more resilient, sustainable and equitable future, and violin music that stirs the imagination needed to create such a world.

Richard will be joined by Terry Mills on guitar. Their repertoire can range from a daredevil sonata by Nicolo Paganini, to concert tango music by Astor Piazzolla, to smoldering Spanish pieces by Enrique Granado, to Renaissance music for lute and viola. Their performances are truly a feast for the ears!

Following the concert, Richard will lead an exploration of how daily life will change as we enter a future powered largely by renewable energy. As our energy sources change from fossil fuels to renewables, the ways we use energy will need to shift as well, offering significant opportunities as well as challenges.

In keeping with Chroma Gallery’s current exhibit theme, “Corners of the Mouth: The Art of Nourishment” (paintings on the theme of food, drink and other forms of nourishment), fine wine and craft beer will be available for purchase.

Admission is $10 at the door (sliding scale), proceeds benefiting Post Carbon Institute. We hope you can make it!
