Idea to start campaign in Petaluma and beyond to leave any extra give-away produce in a box outside your gate or next to the sidewalk. We'll publicize the information and people can get extra produce this way

Let's continue with the neighborhood - fruit and nut tree map

Our projects that we need help on - work/trade

-Jean- drip irrigation and soaker hoses-need hands-on help in May or June.
There is an upcoming class in drip irrigation at the library
Eve O'Rourke a wonderful new member will give a demonstration at Jean's house.
-Laura-needs cardboard mulching
-Jeff - needs cultivation and digging and soil preparation
-Ellen-needs help with brainstorming future projects and wants to build greenhouse.
-Suzanne - wants a greenhouse- can get window glass at recycletown - Steve Dyer can help
-Steve needs soil building and help getting a vegetable garden going
-Don wants to build a greenhouse on the side of the garage (he's in Santa Rosa. We suggested that he contact a Santa Rosa group)
-Trathen - ?

We will be spontaneous about our requests. Say, I need someone next week for whatever you need them for. Whoever can help, will do so.

Skill Share - need to print our list and distribute-Jeff would you email or give the list to Suzanne?
Vehicle Share - phone numbers and vehicle list to share

Suzanne pointed out that we can use the Jail Industry for plants and trees - Rick Stern - Suzanne has phone number

Suzanne has a manure source
For wood chips, contact an arborist and arrange to have them dropped on your property-be sure to specify where-put them thick around shrubs. You can also buy wood chips at $5.00 a yard from a place on Todd Road (ask Steve for the phone number)

Farmer's Market- talk to Connie about water street farmer's market - Proposal need to be made
Purpose of our connection to farmer's market - sell and access food, public education on growing and using local foods, outreach for our group through a flyer (need to create), expand our gleaning, sell seedlings, have starts of fruit trees available

Eve will present a workshop on building with stone
