RELOCALISATION: a strategy for dealing with resouce depletion and climate change by reducing consumption and producing and sourcing daily needs as locally as possible to minimise dependence on declining fossil fuel supplies and reduce transport emissions while creating a stronger and more economically viable communities.
THE GUIDE: "The 2008 SustainaBundy Directory and Guide: how to live a GREENER life in & around Bundaberg" is now available- Click here for more details. This annual guide is just $2 and contains everything a Bundy relocaliser could need: a directory of businesses in the region (within 100 miles - or 160km - around Bundaberg) that make their own products locally, community groups that are helping to make the area sustainable, cafés and restaurants that serve locally grown food, and articles on everything from using less to eating fresh, local food.
