Are you, like us, sick of hearing the misleading oil debate in the daily headlines? While politicians and pundits offer various villains for high gas prices, few get to the heart of the matter -- that our oil journey is going through a radical shift. So it's up to us.
Are you ready to tell the real oil story? Our customizable presentation YOU ARE HERE: The Oil Journey is now ready for action. With feedback from PCI supporters we've put together a great new set of resources for any budding presenters out there.
We've got webinars, a slide deck, a detailed presenters guide, related resources, frequently asked questions, a promotional poster template, a high defintion DVD—in short everything you'll need to take this out into your community.
If you're interested in becoming one of the presenters and would like to sign up to the web based trainings in May contact us via media@postcarbon.org. Thanks to all our our supporters for all that you do.
And for more from PCI, read on...

transition US update
A monthly update from the US national hub of the international Transition movement.
We're just a few days away from our May 2012 Transition Home & Garden Challenge, and the list of inspiring actions around the country is growing! Last year we had 1,500 actions — this year let's have over 2,012! Join the Challenge! We have a host of handy resources and action ideas assembled for you. And the new In Transition 2.0 film is a great tool to gather your community and kick off an action.
You can also double your impact and support the 350.org global Climate Impacts Day on May 5th. Register your action for the Transition Challenge AND for the Climate Impacts Day! (Yes, you will need to register on both websites... a few worthwhile moments to tell your story even more widely).
You can catch some free half-hour shots of inspiration at the virtual Spring of Sustainability conference featuring Transition speakers such as Tina Clarke, Trathen Heckman, Richard Heinberg and Rob Hopkins. Ready to dive in deeper? Read the results from the survey of how to engage young people in Transition. |
