This is a new group established December 2005. So far we have organized several public showings of "The End of Suburbia" and recently worked with the Peoria Area World Affairs Council (www.pawac.org) to bring Richard Heinberg to Peoria on April 1, 2006. We also received a great presentation by Bill Wilson of the Center for Sustainable Community (www.centerforsustainablecommunity.org). The event was a success with about 165 people attending and some coverage by local media. Thanks to everyone for getting involved and making the meeting possible. Help us decide our next steps.
