Planning a Development
Submitted by jack34 on April 26, 2006 - 9:52am.
I just returned from Santa Barbara. I was hoping to find a parcel of land where I could contribute to the development of a sustainable living environment, To no avail.
I would consider joining with some others to accomplish the task of being prepared for 'After oil' reality.
I am a fairly hi-tech person with experience in electronics, solar, construction(CA licensed Gen Contractor) and computers.
Anyone?? Ready??

Jack:
What do you have in mind? It seems that most of the people in our area are still tuned out to the idea of Peak Oil, but things could change when we see what happens with gas prices between now and Labor Day.
Where do I sign up? Peak Oil is here and what do we get out of our politicians - Tax Holidays and rebate checks. We're screwed. I'm calling Senators Boxer & Feinstein everday until they come out for public hearings on Peak Oil. We must get the facts out in front of the public. We must frame the debate with information not wishful or delusional thinking.
