Lomborg credits a few people by name for having read and responded to some or all of the book. In a curious aside in the acknowledgments, Lomborg says that “For various reasons, many [of the climate scientists and social scientists Lomborg says read the book] did not want to be thanked.”
Why not? One of the foundations of science is transparency. It would be helpful to know exactly which climate scientists and social scientists reviewed the book before publication, and what kinds of suggestions or criticism they offered.
