Rail and Trail Day, Sunday, May 21
Friends of the Rail Trail (FORT), Bike to Work, and People Power are teaming up for the 2nd Annual Rail and Trail Day, which will be held on Sunday, May 21. This event is sponsored by Sierra Railroad and New Leaf Community Markets.

Celebrate train and bike travel with a Roaring Camp train ride from Depot Station in Santa Cruz to Felton. Bring your bike on the train, then join us for a fun group ride, down scenic Highway 9, back to Santa Cruz. If you are unable to bicycle back, you can return by train to Depot Station.

This fun transportation event highlights the best of train and bike riding, with scenic trips up and down the San Lorenzo Valley. Roaring Camp of Felton is once again making this event possible by significantly discounting fares for the ride. Last year some 500 participants enjoyed the camaraderie of loading bikes, riding the train, and then biking down Highway 9 with a California Highway Patrol escort.

ADULTS: $6 one way
KIDS 12 AND UNDER:* $3 one way
