Greetings-

Let me keep this reminder as short as possible.

1. First of all, subject to the agreement of the group, we now have a name:

THE CAPITAL REGION ENERGY FORUM

Consider that proposed name to be in "final draft form"...needing our blessing as the first order of business next Monday!

2. We will begin our deliberations over a buffet dinner at the Calaway Grille this coming Monday, April 10th, at 6:30pm. The buffet itself will be open at 6:15pm.....please come and get started
then!

3. The second order of business (after blessing our name) will be to discuss our proposed Mission Statement (attached). This has come forth from our Executive Committee, with key contributions from Roland Schmitt (thanx Roland). Please review this carefully, and be prepared to offer your comments next Monday; hopefully, perhaps with a few small changes, we can align with this proposed Mission Statement.

4. After the discussion of our mission, I will lead a dicussion regarding need for creating Position Papers on certain key issues (and yes, we will welcomme writing help from our members!)

5. After we have finished this "business meeting", we will turn to Howard Hart who has organized our "Education Presentation".....first about 30 minutes from Bill Reinhardt speaking on the anticipated aftermath of Peak Oil, with a followon discussion on this important subject by all of us.

6. This should be a very important/interesting meeting, and you are all encouraged to bring friends. In any case PLEASE tell us whether you will be there, and how many of your friends are coming......and please do that SOONEST. If possible, within the next two/three days! Price, as before: $25 each.
