We find the above lists an interesting mix. Energy Bulletin readers seemed more focused on threats, and their list is dominated by older, much referenced articles. The Resilience.org list begins to bring in some responses. We’re highly disappointed not to see any of our excellent women authors appear in these lists.

That said, there may be elements other than just popularity playing into the results. No offense to Gene Logsdon, for example, but we are pretty sure that the reason his 2007 article on acorns is receiving so many recent hits has a lot to do with its title – could be some school homework going on there!
