Body:
The Tarim Heirloom Project is pleased to present a discourse upon the historical transformation of human perceptions of ecology and the relationship with the world around them that has brought us to the current crisis.
Using Peak Oil and Energy Decent as the axial moment of our age, we will look into how reviving traditional forms of environmental stewardship and ecology must be in concert with a change in paradigm and a revival of historically successful technologies of sustainability. This workshop will be attended by the participant of the summer Dowra (http://thedowra.com/index.html) program of the Dar al-Mustafa Academy. We expect a wide rage of nationalities and backgrounds to attend. Tea and local dates will be served, all are welcome.
