Gaya Herrington is a published author, lecturer, and public speaker on wellbeing/post-growth economics. Since her empirical data comparison to The Limits to Growth in Yale’s Journal of Industrial Ecology went viral in 2021, Gaya has been shaping conversations at local and global levels with her message that true sustainability will not be achieved without transforming our economic system away from an obsession with perpetual growth to one that centers around societal and ecological wellbeing. Gaya holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) and another in Sustainability (Harvard University) and has worked at the Dutch Central Bank, KPMG US and the multinational Schneider Electric
