Post Carbon Fellow Richard Heinberg’s recent talk at the Vermont Natural Resources Council was reviewed in this op-ed in the Rutland Herald.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of hosting a Vermont Natural Resources Council event featuring a senior fellow at the Post Carbon Institute, Richard Heinberg. His passion is to explore the transition from our fossil fuel economy to the next economy, powered by renewable energy, conservation and efficiency. His message on transitioning to an era of clean, renewable energy reminds me of the British monarchy’s extremely efficient treatment of the transition from one ruler to the next, exemplified by the expression: “The king is dead, long live the king.”
