Liminality – a quality of being in between two places or stages, on the verge of transitioning to something new.
Network – a group or system of interconnected people.
The Liminality Network: Who are we and what is our purpose?
We are a global and diverse community of practitioners, thinkers, and influencers navigating the polycrisis together and positively contributing to emerging realities.
As a community we are committing to:
- Generous and humble sharing of knowledge, perspectives, experiences and worldviews;
- Distributing leadership and promoting equity across diverse ways of being and knowing
- Deepening our individual and collective understanding of the polycrisis as it is being experienced by members and their communities;
- Accepting that the polycrisis is here and accelerating; and
- Acting collectively in ways that influence the nature of the polycrisis, minimizing suffering, and building solidarity and social cohesion.
- Aligning around our core values of diversity, equity, humility, curiosity, openness, respect, compassion, honoring all humans and the “more than humans” (other species and ecosystems)
Together we are striving to ensure diversity and balance in our global perspectives; to holding spaces for weaving relationship, solidarity and unifying narratives; to deepening our analysis and understanding of the polycrisis and opportunities emerging; to supporting each other to stay present, embracing the complexity and uncertainty as it unfolds; to developing interventions and growing alternatives, collectively ensuring the best possible outcomes.
